RECEPTIONIST
Program Objective
This program prepares a graduate for entry level employment in a business to
complete data entry functions or to serve as a receptionist. Receptionists greet
customers and other visitors, determine their needs, and refer callers to the person who
can help them. They also answer questions from the public. Receptionists use
automated office equipment in the course of their work. Word processors use word
processing equipment to record, edit, store, and revise correspondence, reports,
statistical tables, forms, and other materials.

Upon completion of the Word Processing/Receptionist program, the graduate should be able to:

setting.
