Diploma Program
Program Objective
The goal of the Dental Assisting program is to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in the dental health field. The program emphasizes the knowledge and skills needed in the four-handed approach to the practice of dentistry. Students receive hands-on training in chair-side dental assisting procedures as well as dental specialties; expanded functions; exposing, processing, and reading radiographs; dental charting, patient preparation, and front office administrative duties.
